We know war has never been a pathway to peace. All people deserve the right to self-determination and freedom from monarchy, theocracy, and imperialism. May the people of our homelands be free.
I am endlessly thankful Entangled Roots Press for offering their artwork for this NO WAR WITH IRAN graphic. It’s available on their website as a free download. As an admirer of street art, I envision this design to be used for guerilla art projects. One thing I’ve felt constantly over the last few months as an Iranian in the diaspora, is helplessness. We’re unable to fundraise for those living in the motherland due to sanctions, unpropagandized communications are hard to find, and frankly, we are divided. But we can create. Here is a creation meant to spread like scattered seeds.

The citizens of Iran, be they Persian, Kurdish, Jewish, Azeri, Bahai, Zoroastrian, deserve to self determine what they want for their country. Free from Western agitators. We are being presented a false binary of mullahs or monarchs. Let us dream up more chances for liberation. And we in the United States should do the same. No War With Iran.
